Broadcast Career
- 25 year career in TV News as a 5, 6 and 10 news anchor/reporter. Began her broadcasting career in 1978 in South Bend, Indiana at WNDU-TV, the NBC affiliate after graduating from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
- She then joined KCTV5 in April, 1979 where she first served as a general assignment reporter before quickly heading to the anchor desk. She and her co-anchor, Wendall Anschutz made broadcast history as the longest-running anchor team in the country based on 22 years working together at KCTV5.
- Anne was the first anchor in Kansas City to specialize reports focusing on family and health issues that directly affect our daily lives. Now as part of Anne Peterson Productions, Anne is producing, writing and hosting video productions for medical, corporate and charitable organizations. She is also a communications/marketing consultant and publicist.
